they can browse, not just search but as soon as you the input gets focus it
becomes clear you can browse anyway so I think they just waste space. The
original idea was for this widget to replace all the content finder widgets
including the one in the collections portlet which doesn't have much space.

My plan, was to make the tabs optional using an option. My concern
with not having them is that the search behaviour changes from
searching the whole site to filtering a folder. To make it clear to
the user I added the tabs. It has always been in the back of my mind
that they may be unnecessary. Some user testing with a diverse group
of users would be great.
