Am I right in saying p.a.wosgets is the place to put any
modifications/replacements to plone widgets to make them work with toolbar?

You're correct but in test browser, you can manually set the values so it
shouldn't matter that you don't have js.



Not really, unless I'm missing something. The to box values is what the
post request sets values from and that is created via JS. Maybe it reads
the from box in the case no to box is created...  I'll have another look.
