[Plone-UI] Show news only on the frontpage?!

I ***think*** you can define "portlets" for the front-page only by calling the "@@manage-portletsabovecontent" on the front-page (so, in the url, http://mysite:myport/front-page/@@manage-portletsabovecontent).  This is how it is explained on the product page of pypi...

	Hey, I have installed the ContentWellPortlet (http://plone.org/products/contentwellportlets) on Plone 4.0.4. to be able to show portlets in the middle part of the site. Now my question: is it possible to customize the news-template in that way, that news will only be shown on the frontpage in my portlet instead of below all main pages that appear in the upper navigation?! thanks in advance, Krystian
