Plone 3.3 <http://plone.org/products/plone/releases/3.3> scheduled for
release in March 2009 has within its roadmap:

    View for rendering events as an iCalendar file
    <http://plone.org/products/plone/roadmap/246>

I'd like to invite discussion and to share some thoughts with developers,
relating to

a) calendaring in general (not limited to PLIP 246)

b) UIs for iCalendar publish and subscribe, and for calendaring more
generally

c) integration of calendaring with content management systems (including
comparison with at least one other CMS).

Before discussion commences:

 * is this forum the best place?

(Any request to discuss elsewhere will be respected; in Nabble it's easy for
me to move the thread.)
