[Plone-UI] Visual refresh / redesign for 3.0

Hi all,

I have attempted to summarize what we have so far on the visual  
redesign/refresh of 3.0.

I'm trying to collect what changes we have looked into and partly agreed  
on, along with some examples and prototype designs from various people  
(Christof, Cornelis, myself) that illustrate some of the concepts.

I prefer that we discuss on this mailing list, but if you want to leave  
comments directly on the document, you can.

(The disadvantage is of course that only I get notified when comments are
