Hi Rob,

are you using Internet Explorer? If yes, this is probably a CSS 
rendering bug, namely the so-called "peekaboo bug". You can find more

It's usually easiest to fix by adding a position:relative somewhere 
along the hierarchy of the "peeking" div. In Plone it's best to 
include it in the IEfixes.css.
