Hi,

just to gather some knowledge and best practices here:

I keep finding these two distributions being used by other
distributions to get some configuration to run tests against plone
either locally or on jenkins, but how much up-to-date are they? Are
they sort of blessed as "the way" to test your distribution? What are
the benefits to begin with?

I'm quite curious as I've never relied on them (at least I'm not aware
of it) and so far testing locally and on jenkins is running smoothly.

Do they achieve the same and thus at least got merged somehow? Should
a new[1] way be done? Is what they were trying to achieve obsolete?
