[Setup] Overriding pinned egg version

Hi!, I'm running Plone 4.3 with embedded python. An addon
(collective.xmpp.chat) requires a newer version of distribute, which is
pinned in version.cfg to 0.6.28.

Trying to comment that line in version.cfg gives me:

Error: There is a version conflict.
We already have: distribute 0.6.28

Any idea about how to fix this?
