I'm not sure on your new issue. I haven't seen that error before (haven't
used collective.contacts before). I would recommend submitting a ticket to
the product developers (http://plone.org/products/collective.contacts)
and/or asking the folks in the Add-on Product Developers forum
(http://plone.org/support/forums/addons).
