that helped me going further! finally i only touch the logo.png and 
ploneCustom.css, so that's fine. i understand that hacking into the 
templates is not the best idea...

now i struggle with a plone "automatisme". when logged out the defaut 
sunburst theme shows the login-portlet AND the portal-personaltools 
wherein login is also possible. i want the automatic login-portlet to 
never show up. it seams as it is not the user manageble login-portlet 
that one can show/hide as if i show this one, i get this portlet twice 
(login, calendar, login: from top to bottom)
