Hello,
I have a Plone setup that is configured to authenticate to our Active
Directory domain using the Plone Active Directory Plugin. Apache is doing
the authentication using https and passing the authenticated requests to
Plone on port 8080.

I was working on speeding it up and installed memoize and chameleon using
easy_install, that in turn installed a handful of dependencies and had some
unexpect effects. It is still running and authenticating.
The two issues I would like to fix are:

1. I am unable to go into the ldap control panel in the Plone Site Setup
page.

Traceback (innermost last):
Module ZPublisher.Publish, line 119, in publish
Module ZPublisher.mapply, line 88, in mapply
  Module ZPublisher.Publish, line 42, in call_object
Module zope.formlib.form, line 769, in __call__
Module plone.app.ldap.browser.controlpanel, line 67, in update
Module plone.memoize.instance, line 45, in memogetter
Module plone.app.ldap.browser.controlpanel, line 61, in storage
Module zope.component._api, line 207, in getUtility
ComponentLookupError: (<InterfaceClass
plone.app.ldap.engine.interfaces.ILDAPConfiguration>, '')

2. The Z2.log file in client1 used to show the username, now all requests
are listed as Anonymous.

Environment Information:

Zope Version (unreleased version, python 2.4.6, linux2)
