We have migrated from Plone 2.5.3 to Plone 3.1.4.

We run these products: FAQulator, Marshall, PloneHelpCenter,
PloneKeywordManager, Workflow Policy Support, Zwiki and sdotNews.

Do you think this might be the problem? I guess I can't fix it then, since
I need to copy Data.fs if I want to setup a new server.

We have the exact same problem with our live 3.1.2 site (previously
migrated from 2.5.3).

The "compare to previous version" does nothing.

It works fine in a fresh Plone site. If I copy portal_diff from that
site to a copy of our live site, that still doesn't work.(In our
portal_diff we have all the diff types set to "Compound Diff for AT
Types", it looks pretty much the same as the configuration of a fresh
site + 3rd-party products)

My best guess is, this is broken by either a missing step in migration,
or, some bad interaction with a 3rd-party product (we have PloneSurvey,
PloneFormGen, ZWiki, Ploneboard, SimpleBlog, CacheFu, windowZ,
FeedMixer, ATFlashMovie and our own products).

You might try this in a fresh Plone site and compare to your live site.

What 3rd-party products do you have and what is your site's migration
history?

Regards,
Nick
