[Setup] Install problem, OSX 10.4, Plone 3.1.6

My installation keeps failing. 

Several repeated attempts bring no change.
I tried 'Standalone installation' and "Production Mode", both act the same.
I tried putting the base folder into the user/home folder

Using:
MacBook (never saw a Plone installation)
OSX 10.4.11
Plone-3.1.6-OSX-Intel.dmg

The installer ends with:
"Please try installing again"

Are there requisites? Log files to look at? What to do?
