[Setup] Problem migrating from Plone 2.05 to 3.1.7 (resent)

Hi,
I managed to have a clean installation. I installed the 3.1.7 version and
copied the Data.fs from ver. 2.0.5.

The good news is that the data are there (see attached snapshot)
http://n2.nabble.com/file/n1575867/snapshot2.jpg
even though with some problems.

Accessing through plone I got this message:
***
Site Error
An error was encountered while publishing this resource.

Error Type: KeyError
Error Value: 'global_defines'

Troubleshooting Suggestions

This resource may be trying to reference a nonexistent object or variable
'global_defines'.
The URL may be incorrect.
The parameters passed to this resource may be incorrect.
A resource that this resource relies on may be encountering an error.

If the error persists please contact the site maintainer. Thank you for your
patience.

Now I guess I have to migrate from 2.0.5 (data version) to 3.1.7, right?
Should I follow the instructions here:
http://plone.org/documentation/manual/upgrade-guide/view?searchterm=migration

step-by-step, first from 2.0.5 to 2.1, etc.? Any other hints?

Thanks
Andrea
