In the http.conf file C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation
\Apache2.2\conf approximately 144 lines down is the place to put an
apache rewrite. This was done on the latest Apache and the oldest
currently supported plone, plone 2.5.3 on a windows system obviously.

When you want to use apache in front of zope server you've got to let
apache know where the resource is.
