[Setup] Errors upon login plone 3.0.1

I just installed Plone 3.0.1 on Windows XP SP2 OS.  I am brand new to Plone. 
I get following  errors, copied from the log.  Basically nothing much works,
so I can not use Plone.  Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do?

Exception Type AttributeError 
Exception Value portal_groups
