[Setup] Upgrading python - did it work?

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a local plone site that's a duplicate of one on a web
server. My local system is Windows, the server is Unix.

According to the migration tool, the web version is 2.0.5 with python 2.3.5.
After I installed 2.0.5 on my local machine, I saw that I have Plone 2.0.5
with Python 2.3.3 (instead of 2.3.5).

So I went to the Python site and downloaded 2.3.5. To find where to install
it, I looked at zoperun.bat, which says that python is in C:\Program
Files\Plone 2\Python\python.exe. So that's where I installed 2.3.5.

It installed correctly, but the migration tool still says that I have 2.3.3.
I can't figure out any way to update that.

Did I upgrade Python? Why don't I see the new version number?
