[Setup] AD/LDAP w/ Plone 2.5 can't login

Hi Thomas,

What is the attribute error you get? Maybe an LDAP attribute has not been
mapped correctly to plone attributes.

Cheers,
Phil

I installed LDAPMultiPlugins1.3 (latest) and it seems to work properly, all
I can see it do really is auto configure some of the AD properties for an
LDAPUserFolder for me. But I still get an error. It looks like a slightly
different error now, Plone is giving me an AttributeError, which I'll take
as an improvement.

I've also tried using a GRUF and adding in an LDAP UF as a source, and it
read the groups from my AD, but it gives nil on the users. The strangest
part is if I go into the LDAP UF users tab and lookup a user, they show up
fine!

If anyone has any other ideas, I'm certainly open to them.

Thanks a bunch,

-Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Try installing LDAPMultiPlugins1.2 (available from here
http://www.dataflake.org/software/ldapmultiplugins/ldapmultiplugins_1.2)

Add this to your normal ac-Users and see if it works.

Cheers,
Phil

Hi All,

I just installed Plone 2.5 and LDAPUserFolder (with all its
requirements) and everything seemed fine (once I put the right LDAP path in
anyway). I'm have Plone set to auth against my Windows 2003 AD.

The problem is that now I can't log in when I try to go to my Plone site. If
I click the login link I get a message telling me that I need to log in to
be able to access that part of the site, which is what I'm trying to do.

Also, from the ZMI if I view the Plone site I get logged in as the admin,
which is good, but when I try to access the groups page, I get an
AttributeError in Plugins. (Let me know and I can send the error text.) I
get the same kind of error if I try to create a new user, or even pull up a
user from as Admin in Plone.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Many thanks,

Thomas
