[Product-Developers] Integrate collective.solr with plone.app.search

Hi all,

I'd like to use collective.solr together with plone.app.search. Does
anybody know a good way to integrate both or a package that does this?
I found ftw.solr that registers a modified version of the @@search view,
but I hope to find something more lightweight (and can not get it to
work on Plone 4.2:)
