[Product-Developers] Announcing `collective.panels`

This is a new add-on for Plone 4 which adds "panels"  – rows of
portlet in a selected layout that can appear above- or below content

The idea is similar to content wells, but the implementation is more
flexible: the provided layouts support a variable number of portlets
and you can add multiple panels.

Currently, the package comes with three layouts – all based on Plone's
"Deco 16" grid. To make it easy for editors to decide on a layout, the
"Add panel" form displays a graphical representation of each.

Theoretically, this add-on deprecates the content wells, collage and
portlet page products. In practice, it needs a little work to meet
that ambition. However, the design is quite solid and clearly shows a
"lessons learned" maturity.
