[Product-Developers] Plone Help Center Version

Dear friends,

Plone Help Center gets me confused regarding its version.

In the Downloads section for PHC at plone.org, it states that version 1.5 is
the current, and version 1.6 is a RC. It also presents version 2.0 as the
Unreleased one that will come after 1.6.

The Cheese Shop listing for Products.PloneHelpCenter lists version 1.6.1

When I install it using buildout, I get version 3.0a3 (the same version
listed in the version.txt file in the SVN trunk)

In the subversion repository there are branches named 1.5 and 1.6 (this one
states version 1.6.2 in the version.txt file).

Which one is the correct "stable and recommended" version?

BTW, I stumbled upon this concern because I was trying to install a
"buildout default version" (the one you get just by listing the egg name in
buildout) of both Plone Help Center and Plone Software Center in order to
put them up together. Doing that, I got version 1.5 for PSC and 3.0a3 for
PHC. But that gave me the "AttributeError: @@hc_view " when navigating to
the documentation section of a software project.

I solved that by using the 1.6 branch version for PHC from the svn
repository, using the infrae.subversion buildout recipe (just for the
record).

Regards,

Alberto
