It's fixed... i followed Tarek's example at
http://plone.org/documentation/tutorial/how-to-upload-your-package-to-plone.org
and did
$ python setup.py mregister sdist mupload -r pypi
Maybe the 'sdist' is the key here. I also see the correct version number and
product description now.
The buildout now works! (Although i do get a 'return outside function' error,
which is harmless, like we all know now :) )
(By the way, isn't it weird that easy_install follows the url to see if it can
fetch the package there, before trying PyPi's version? At least, that's how i
understand it from reading the easy_install -v output, see
http://paste.plone.org/26981)
Have fun using PloneInvite! Just include 'Products.PloneInvite' in your
buildout. If you have any comments, please let me know.
