Hi Anatoly

A quick solution to prevent multiple mails from being sent is to use a
MaildropHost. It makes your mail "transactional". I use
SecureMaildropHost myself. It is a drop-in replacement for the normal
MailHost you'll find in the root of your Plone Site.

This will at least buy you time to investigate the problem.
