No idea about the schedule for ATManagedFile but consider moving to ZODB 
blob support or using FileSystemStorage. Replacing ATManagedFile with 
FileSystemStorage should be easy with a small migration script - with the 
benefits that you could re-use the standard File type without introducing a 
new content-type at this point.
