[Product-Developers] A custom members folder get readded every time a user logs in

Sorry for not defining my questions properly:

1) Is it "wrong" to make a custom Member-type folder?

2) If not, is it sure that the readding is because of the content  
type? (or could it be a workflow issue (single state workflow,  (or  
something else))
