HV> I think we can separate this into different pieces; as long as I 
understand what you are working on is part of the whole process because 
it includes only the creation of a printed version of the content, and 
that is fine.

for example, if you content is created using some sort of XML editor, it 
would be ease to use different DTD (Docbook's or NITF's) to feed the 
DTP, but if you are going to use content created by a third party news 
agency, it would be probably better to use NITF.

on the other side, if you need to create a copy of the printed edition 
for the web, it will be great to do it exporting the whole edition as a 
NewsML file and then import it and parse it into the web server CMS.
