[Plone-IT] Esplosione plone, nonostante recupero del vecchio backup

Un saluto a tutti, 

in mattinata prima di metter le mani al plone versione 2.5 ho fatto un bel
backup con l'utility repozo.py pensando di poter star tranquillo! Ho poi
rimosso re-installato ri-rimosso add-on... A fine giornata, quando pensavo
di esser quasi riuscito ad ottenere quello che volevo, riavvio Plone tramite
il "Plone Controller" (sono su windows server -.- ) e scopro che :

Nessuna paura - penso io - ho perso "solo" una giornata di lavoro, faccio il
restore e tutto tornerà come prima... Non è stato così!

L'unico modo per poter tornare a una versione "recente" del sito è stato
quello di sostituire una copia dell'intera cartella Plone (che risale a un
mese fa) al posto della attuale. Provo a fare un restore a questo punto in
cui il sito è tornato in piedi, ma nel momento in cui faccio il restore,
vedo scoppiarmi nuovamente il sito tra le mani.

Sto faticando a mantenere la calma :###

Le operazioni che ho fatto in giornata sono state prevalentemente
l'installazione e la rimozione di "Plone4Artists Video", prodotto che non
riuscivo a far funzionare, per poi scoprire che l'errore finale era nella
mancanza del "Plone4ArtistsSubtyper" o "p4a.subtyper", poi installato con
easy_install. 

Riavviato Plone dopo quest'ultima installazione il sito è crashato. Ho
provato a rimuovere questo prodotto con l'opzione -m ma il risultato non è
cambiato.

Grazie a Google ho trovato altre persone con errori simili, ma erano dovuti
a situazioni completamente diverse dalla mia. Credete che abbia la
possibilità di tornare almeno al backup di questa mattina?
