[NGO] ldap vs generic plone authentication

Hi Andrew and Andrew,
Unfortunately it's looking very unlikely that I am going to be able to
make the seattle conference. So, I'll drop Duncan a line and ask him to
send me the Oxfam ldap info. My questions at this stage are more to do
with the why's of ldap rather than the how's :-)
