Hi,

I want to introduce a new project to this discussion list

Oxfam Canada is launching a project to migrate from a largely static HTML
platform to Zope/Plone CMS and looking forward to joining the growing Oxfam
family using Plone. We will be developing the new website over late
summer/early fall and aim for launch in October.

Our intention is to build upon and extend the tremendous work that the Oxfam
UK, OIIS, and Oxfam America teams have already put into developing the Oxfam
"flavour" of Zope/Plone CMS, and to develop new Plone-based community tools
to support our active volunteer groups and members across Canada.

Though we've missed the opportunity to present this project at Ploneability,
we've been studying the documentation and following the discussion on this
list with great interest. We hope to make good use of the wisdom and advice
of Zope/Plone developers who support greater use of this CMS in the
nonprofit sector.

Some members of this list may be interested in responding to the Request For
Proposal we have just issued for the project. We are seeking both website
design and Zope/Plone technical developers to work with Oxfam Canada to
build the new site. If you would like to receive the RFP, please contact
either myself or Roger Musselman at Oxfam Canada (email: rogerm at oxfam.ca)

Thanks,

George Irish
