Hello Elia,
     I've checked if that button would be displayed with just the "view"
permission on the worksheet, but it's not the case. For the sake of
transparency I thinks there's no problem with that history being public,
but nevertheless it's a limit of the product. I've googled a bit for a
way to export just the history, but AFAICS it's not possible right now.
If you find a good solution for that, please ping us again and I will
help you.
Another possible way to view that history would be to have the edit
permission and therefor join the framework team.
If you are willing to join, just drop a mail here asking to join the
team by saying why you are willing to join (I mean, why you would be a
good member of the team, what you can help with) and what's your
experience with Plone and the Plone Community.
