[Framework-Team] OT: problems with Gmane misinterpretations of browse back/forward and other key combinations

To seasoned Framework Team users of Gmane, a plea:

How do I prevent Gmane from misinterpreting key combinations?

Examples: I browse from
<http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.zope.plone.teams.framework/
1924> to
(click on subject)
<http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.zope.plone.teams.framework/1924>
then click on the third item in the thread
then (click on subject)
 >

Now: focused on what I want, preparing to copy the URL, I key
command-l to simultaneously present the toolbar and select/highlight the
  Location (URL)

In everything other than Gmane, this works.

In Gmane, the standard key combinations are ignored or over-ridden :(
I'm misdirected to a completely different point in the list, away from
the thread, away from the subject :(

Lost, frustrated, I key
command-[
to browse back, then back again, but oh no, the standard key
combinations are ignored or over-ridden.

The problems are evident in both Safari and Firefox 3.0.3 so it's not
browser-specific.

TIA for any tips. I'm most familiar with the Nabble-recommended route
to Plone-related discussions ;)

Graham

(I'm using Gmane now only because there's no plone.org interface to
this list, reasons for which I understand.)
