On the subject of migration, I find nothing more reassuring than

Even now, running 3.1.x, I wonder whether the candy shop of add-on products
that I have dropped into our sites will cause me problems when Plone 4 comes
along. I'm sure there'll be a little difficulty — I'm prepared, at least
spiritually. If we do find that a scripted approach is required, I'll
happily pay for an expert to do the scripting :)
