[Educational] eduCommons and Plone 2.1

Hi,

I'm wanting to experiment eduCommons, to study its architecture, to 
understand possible extensions/integrations.
I've tried to install it on Plone 2.1, in order to factor the effort with 
other projects (sites, applications) in course of migration to this version 
of Plone.
I had to make 4 patches in order to complete the installation.
Now I have to understand and overcome new problems concerning the use of the 
installed application.

(if you climb up my folder structure, you can see that I am almost a newby 
of Linux)

The url of the eduCommons installation is

Some questions:
- the developpers of eduCommons are working at the port to Plone 2.1 ?
- other people was successful in using eduCommons on Plone 2.1, making 
better patches?
- should I continue with my effort, possibly requesting help, for each 
problem, to Zope/Plone/eduCommons experts?
