[Plone-conference] Plone Conference Statement on Barcelona

Dear Plone conference registrants, speakers, trainers, and community
members,

The Plone Conference 2017 organizing team has been paying close attention
to events in Barcelona.

While unfortunately there have been violent incidents in relation to the
Catalan Independence referendum, it is important to state that none of this
has been targeted in any way towards visitors of the great city of
Barcelona.

The conference will be held as scheduled, October 16-22, 2017.

We will keep you updated as the conference’s start draws closer. In the
meantime, please proceed with your conference attendance plans. We are
confident that Barcelona will be a welcoming place for all of you, as it
has always been.
