Hi all
I just wanted to send someone the link to Kim Nguyen's presentation
from last year.
The 2014 talks are nowhere on plone.org, and 2014.ploneconf.org is now
redirecting to 2015.ploneconf.org
It would make perfect sense for ploneconf.org and www.ploneconf.org to
go to 2015.ploneconf.org, but if I link or browse to
2014.ploneconf.org that means that I meant the conference which took
place last year, in 2014.
In the end I had to google slideshare.net .. it is some extra effort
to switch a conference site to a retrospective mode (make it
read-only, remove ticket links), but I think it would be very
valuable. For this, the conference site would probably need to be a
Plone on the same infrastructure as plone.org ?
There is
https://plone.org/events/conferences/plone-conference-2014/plone-conference-2014-bristol-uk-1
and
https://plone.org/events/conferences/plone-conference-2014/plone-conference-2014-bristol-uk
The first is better and the second should be deleted. I'd be happy to
help if I have the rights.
(They link to http://2014.ploneconf.org/ , unsurprisingly.)
Regards,
