Hi All!

Hopefully you have all purchased your ticket to the Plone Conference already. If not, time is running out! Tickets can be purchased at:

The talk schedule has just been published:

http://2014.ploneconf.org/talks

We have, once again, a fantastic line up of speakers and talks this year. We have two days of scheduled talks, and then a day of Open Space sessions for people to propose talks ‘on the fly’. Great for expanding on the hallway chats.

This is your best and biggest opportunity in the year to meet up with other Plone users and developers. We have specifically highlighted talks that relate to the upcoming Plone 5…. and it is a large proportion of the talks! So this is your chance to not only keep up to date with the current development of Plone and see what is coming up in the latest version, but a chance to have your say and put your input into the mix.

The conference kicks off with two days of training, and this year we have gone all out to run three separate training sessions over two days. This year we have two sessions taken from the new ‘Mastering Plone’ syllabus: 'Mastering Plone (Beginners)' and, 'Mastering Plone (Advanced)’. There is also a training session on ‘Mockup’, the new and upcoming frontend library for Javascript development in Plone 5. These training sessions will all take place at the conference venue, the Thistle Hotel in Bristol. Tickets for the training can be booked on the conference site (http://2014.ploneconf.org/training) and are separate to the main conference ticket. You get a two-day training course for the unbelievable price of £150. This is one of the best opportunities all year to get up to speed on Plone development practises, so please take advantage of it.

As well as training and an exciting line up of talks, the conference party has also been organised in a newly renovated micro-brewery 10 minutes walking distance from the conference venue. There will be a large selection of locally brewed ales and larger on offer as well as delicious home cooked food, and if that isn't enough there will also be a local Jazz band offering an evening of entertainment exclusively for conference attendees.

Details of the dinner / party and the menu is now online:

We are also about to hit the printing deadline for banners and bags, so if you are considering sponsoring the conference, please contact us ASAP. The conference would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors. Sponsorship is an awesome way to show your support of the community and get your company name out there in front of everyone! So if you want to get your name and logo alongside some fantastic other Plone Organisations, then all details are at:
