+1 on Trello. Great tool.
Since Trello is largely an Agile instrument, it can help to shed light on
what tasks might be overlarge for the individuals working on them (get
more help, break up the task), what tasks are blocked by others needing to
be finished, that sort of thing. It provides a nice visual representation
of how the different pieces of the project are progressing.
Another Agile thought: Since the deadline is extremely tight, we should
look at the minimum required to meet phase 1, which is having a site with
some actual substance in place within a *very* few weeks for the Conference
(Version 1.0, if you will). The key being to not try to overblow that goal
by attempting a lot of additional accomplishments. Save those for Version
1.2 and beyond. A sane and humane thing to do.
