Plone.com stakeholders: do you want clear and consistent cat herding? If
so, I'm available to help. What I'm not interested in is putting together a
group of folks to accomplish some tasks and then having the project taken
in a totally different direction by other helpers. Let me be clear: I want
to help. I don't want to participate in a power struggle.

I have a proven track record for clear and concise communication,
leadership, and results. While I know Liz and Wyn are very well meaning,
and I very much LOVE them personally (and they both have similar track
records as I) :-), I find their contributions here a bit off-putting. Sorry
to be blunt, but my patience with this is at an end, too. I generally don't
contribute to avoid exactly this type of conflict. But I thought the
project was "dead", as indicated by Matt and I don't want to see it fail.

Bottom line: who is going to cat herd this? I have volunteered and can
deliver results. Why are "other cat herders" now joining and changing the
focus? To me, this seems both disrespectful and harmful to any forward
motion. Everyone, please try to be respectful of everyone else's
contributions. We all have opinions. Results are the only thing that
matters here.

Liz, Wyn, are you now leading the group? If so, please do me the courtesy
of stating your intentions plainly as I have done. And save me the time of
stepping up to lead, only to have to fight for that leadership.

Respectfully,

Alex
