   1. *Plone: (Free, Open Source) *Plone is an out-of-the-box ready
content management system that is built on the powerful and free Zope
Application server. It requires minimal effort to set up, is deeply
flexible, and provides you with a system for managing web content that is
ideal for a news website. **

   1. *Pre-Designs*: I have attached designs for the domains
   PrudentPressAgency.com and SkyNewswire.com. I require additional
   designs for Reriani.com <http://reriani.com/> and IdeaOfLife.com
   2. *Similarity:* Plone skins are written in the excellent HTML
templating system, Zope Page Templates, and a large amount of Cascading
Style Sheets (CSS). With little knowledge of Plone, you can apply multiple
skins, achieve multiple looks, and totally customize your Web site's
   appearance. PrudentPressAgency.com, SkyNewswire.com and
IdeaOfLife.comare exact duplicates except for the designs or skins
(formats, fonts, logos,
colors and other aspects of the websites look and feel. They are to be
designed completely in Plone. Reriani.com <http://reriani.com/> is a
simple html and flash website different from the rest. I will refer to the
   three websites PrudentPressAgency.com, SkyNewswire.com and
IdeaOfLife.com as "Plone news sites" in the remainder of this
   description.
   3. *Registration:* We require Plone features a complete user
registration system. Users register with a Plone site using their own
username, password, and any other information you might want to add about
the user. You can then personalize the whole user interface for that user.
In addition, with add-ons, you can use information you already have about
users, coming from many places, such as relational databases, Lightweight
Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Active Directory, and more
   4. *Multiple workflows configurable on the website:* Workflow controls
the logic of processing content through the site. You can configure this
logic through the Web using graphical tools. Site administrators can make
sites as complex or as simple as they'd like; for example, you can add
notification tools such as sending e-mails or instant messages to users. For
every item of content in a Plone site, you can set up access control lists
to decide who has access to that item and how they'll be able to interact
with it. Will they be able to edit it, view it, or comment on it? All this
is configurable through the Web. This really simplifies the tasks. I have
downloaded the plone software and it is very user friendly.
   5. *Website frames and Design:* As in attached designs 5 frames (Top,
Left, Middle and Right frame and Bottom)
   6. *Login page design* for plone websites users: http://prweb.com (On
   Right frame)
   7. *Contents Home page/Middle frame: *Exactly as
http://prnewswire.comMiddle frame (Today's Top Story, Latest News)
   8. *Dropdown Examples:* The top links at http://www.marketwire.com are
   goot examples.
   9. *Stretch-out Examples: *Just like dropdown but stretches to the
left or right and NOT down. You will notice this at
   http://www.marketwire.com – Our Services –* *
   10. *Pr Tuneups:* This is our weekly FREE PR newsletter.
   11. *Contents Top frame*: Permanent Links: Home, About Us, Services
(Dropdown etc, etc), Contact Us (Dropdown etc, etc), Search Box, PR Tuneups,
Navigation (Dropdown etc, etc), Careers, RSS feed, MyYahoo,
   12. *Contents Left Frame*: Permanent links: Media services (Stretch
out – Media Evaluation and Analysis, Press Release Writing, Press Release
Distribution, Media Clipping Services, etc etc ), Newspaper
Advertising (Stretch Out etc, etc), Webcasting, Event and Celebrity
Sponsorships, News Categories (Stretch Out etc over 60 links), Rotating
   Advertiser Box,
   13. *Contents Middle Frame*: Format for news. Example:

Body, Highlighted
links (Relevant website of client), About the Client, Contacts of the
Client, Comment and rate this Article (see point20 below), Back to the top
(Each of these should have a separate form box when client logs in to their
webadmin area to post the press release)
